Rutherford Telephone Answering Service (TAS) developed its roots in the fall of 1986 when a young medically trained couple recognized the need for a reliable medical only answering service. The young couple worked with their hospital and after a few conversations, a business plan and an old fashioned hand shake, Rutherford TAS answered its very first calls for our medical community. Over 26 years later, Rutherford TAS has grown to over 90 full time employees has clients in all 50 states and still remains a family owned and operated company.
In the words of the CEO, “Growing up, everyone in our family worked in the answering service business. It is who we are. Being the youngest of 5 children, all four of my older siblings had their very first jobs working the phones for our family company. Every one of us has played an important role in the success of our company and we continue to grow today because the commitment to our doctors and our employees remains strong.
